Give students a high-energy day built around real-world science and teamwork. These trips are designed to support classroom learning through outdoor, hands-on activities that encourage curiosity and collaboration.
Possible STEM themes (you can choose 1–2 per visit):
• Ecosystems & biodiversity: habitats, food chains, observation skills
• Engineering & design challenges: build-and-test activities using simple materials
• Water & environmental science: watersheds, conservation, “leave no trace” principles
• Team-based problem solving: group challenges that build leadership and communication
Best for: elementary, middle, and high school (customized by grade)
A grade-specific field trip designed to match common 3rd-grade science topics while keeping the day fun, active, and memorable. Students learn best by doing, so we focus on observation, classification, and simple experiments in a natural setting.

• Plants & pollinators
• Animal signs & habitats
• Soil, rocks, and erosion basics
• Nature journaling + guided discovery hike
Best for: 3rd grade classes and grade-level groups
Camp Marymount supports homeschool families with programs that bring learning to life. Our homeschool offerings combine outdoor education, hands-on activities, and age-appropriate exploration—built to complement what families are already doing at home.

Suntrails is our unique outdoor education program that provides school groups, nonprofits, small businesses and large corporations the opportunity to build a more cohesive team in a beautiful setting.
Groups engage in a series of challenges that nurture personal growth, encourage self-reliance, promote cooperation, instill confidence and improve communication skills.
Activities include working together on our low ropes course. Your team will work through obstacles that require physical balance, constructive problem-solving, and clear communication to ensure everyone completes the challenge successfully.
PROGRAMS DESIGNED FOR A VARIETY OF GROUPS
SunTrails offers flexible 1-day, 2-day, and 3-day programs that can be adapted for your specific group.
Multi-day sessions provide the opportunity to include a number of camp activities into your daily agenda, including prayer services, meditation, hiking through the woods, fishing and canoeing on Lever Lake, and of course, a good ol’ campfire, complete with s’mores.
OPEN IN SPRING AND FALL
Suntrails is only open in the fall and spring, so reserve your spot early. If you’d like to book a date for your group, or if you would like more information about Suntrails at Marymount, please contact [email protected].
