APPLY NOW What you need to know Who Works at Camp? Camp Marymount hires both male and female counselors and support staff each summer to work either or both boys’ and girls’ sessions. Female counselors and CITs are hired for the girls’ sessions. Males are also hired during the girls’ sessions as support staff. During the boys’ session, males are hired as counselors and CITs, and female staff are employed as support staff. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Between teaching activities, eating each meal in the dining hall with a table full of kids, and living in a cabin with your campers, counselors should actively engage with each camper individually, as well as encourage team building in all group settings. Every staff member must attend Training Week prior to the beginning of the session that they will work. All applicants must be able to commit to the entire session including training week.
