About Camp Marymount

Camp Marymount is a non-profit Catholic camp which sits on 350 acres of rolling, wooded hills in Fairview, TN, just 20 minutes from downtown Nashville. Since 1939, Camp Marymount welcomes more than 700 boys and girls of all faiths every summer. Our year-round programming serves children, families, private groups, schools, parishes, and community members.

About the Role: (Summary)

The Executive Director will primarily focus on camp management including budget, program development, staffing, risk & safety and property & facilities. The Executive Director will oversee day-to-day operations and represent Camp Marymount to internal and external stakeholders, develop and implement a vision and creative strategies to ensure organizational longevity and maximize community impact.

The most competitive candidates will meet the following requirements:

· A practicing Catholic with thorough and demonstrated knowledge of camp operations.

· Site operations and facilities management experience.

· 3-5 years in camp leadership experience or equivalent.

· Visionary leader with an energy and commitment to creating a strong camp community.

· Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit.

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000 annually

Residence: A camp director private residence is negotiable. Executive Director is not required to live on site during the summer months, but private living quarters are available during summer camp sessions.
